About the Role
We at Bon Conseil Pty Ltd, on behalf of Global Care Network (GCN), are seeking disability support workers to work on a casual basis in Margaret River & Surrounding. The positions are casual to start with, and for the right candidates, there will be opportunities for full-time permanent positions.

About the role
This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity for you to make a positive change in the lives of People with a Disability, as part of this role, you will be required to actively support individuals with their daily living needs and physical support requirements.
Tasks that will be expected during your shifts and not limited to will be;
- Meal preparation and meal support
- Administration of medication
- Supporting activities of daily living (including personal care such as showering)
- Community Access & Transport (including, shopping and appointments)
- Maintain & Monitor Person Centred Plans
- Documenting & Progress Note keeping
- Using a hoist to transfer individuals
- Manual handling tasks
- Transporting individuals in wheelchairs to work, community activities, or medical appointments
- Complete daily reporting requirements
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum qualification of Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent. (not essential)
- Experience working with complex care needs and behaviours (preferred)
- Medication administration skillset
- 6 - 12 months of industry experience
- Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
You will also be required to have:
- NDIS worker orientation certificate
- Must have 100 point ID, Copy of Qualification
- NDIS worker screening check
- Covid19 Vaccination Certificate
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Valid Australian driver's license and reliable transport
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check (where relevant to the role).
To be considered for and appointed to a position at Global Care Network, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or hold a valid medical exemption certificate. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status during the recruitment process.

- Use a vehicle wheelchair hoist and restraints for securing the wheelchair prior to transporting.
- Transporting individuals in wheelchairs to work, community activities, or medical appointments
- Complete daily reporting requirements
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum qualification of Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent.
- Medication administration skillset
- CPD training evidence in Hoist use
- CPD training evidence in Mealtime Preparation
- 6 - 12 months industry experience
- Ability to work shift work, including nights and weekends
- Experience in the tasks outlined in the shift tasks
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
You will also be required to have:
